In Engineering Innovation, students engage in open-ended problem solving, learn and apply the engineering design process, and use the same industry-leading technology and software as are used in the world’s top companies. The course is designed for students who are interested in engineering and manufacturing fundamentals, entrepreneurship, innovation, and law. Students experience hands-on, active learning with full immersion in real-world projects sponsored by business partners. Students work in multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative solutions to a company’s real-world problems. Each student is partnered with a professional mentor. Students will receive two credits within this experience: Engineering Design and Development and Business Law.
