Miru
Created by Josh D.
I got to meet Dav Pilkey, and he inspired me to make this art sculpture. I used tin foil for the base and clay on the outside. Dav Pilkey has four Ps. He likes to write about: positivity, practice, persistence, and purpose. I’m trying to write about those, too.
Smooshed
Created by Claire S.
I created this piece because I know how much my teacher, Mrs. Reuter, loves the color green, avocados, and French bulldogs. I combined them all to create this artwork.

Gerald
Created by Annabelle M.
I created this piece because ducks are my favorite animal, and I felt a special connection to this one. His name is Gerald! I used chalk pastels to create the water and the sun's reflection, and I drew the duck with gel pens.

Reed is Reading Again
Created by Jackson R.
This piece is called “Reed is reading again!” because my last name is Reed and I love to read anywhere... ANYWHERE!
I created this piece in response to another piece I saw on the art display. It had candles in a library, and then I thought about my own love of reading and got this idea.
This piece depicts dawn's light shining through the top-left corner, suggesting someone had been reading for hours in an old house with torn wallpaper. Candles are dripping on the books. It's a truly epic story.

Flaming Mountain
Created by Calvin K.
I made this piece because I love the sides of mountains and how beautiful they look. But the best part is the T. rex burning everything! My brother loves dinosaurs, so I found one he liked, and when I looked at it, I knew it would be perfect.

You're Blooming Amazing!
Created by Jessica N.
I made this piece because I love flowers and their colors. Another point about this drawing is that I primarily include positive, kind sentences in my work. I love flowers because they are beautiful and make me happy!

Phones = Distraction
Created by Filipe V.
I started this piece in October since I had the “monster” vibe. I wanted to create a monster piece where the monster rises from the ground, and then I thought of the phone.
