This course challenges students to design innovative solutions for the most pressing health challenges of the 21st century.  Utilizing Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum, students address topics ranging from public health and biomedical engineering to clinical medicine and physiology.  Each student is partnered with a professional mentor. Alternate days this course is held off-campus at the Insight Office. Professional attire is required for students when working with professionals; on other dates, lab attire will be required.

Open to Students: Grades 11 and 12

Total PHS Credits Earned: 2

  • 1 PHS credit: PLTW Biomedical Innovation 

  • 1 PHS credit: English (English 11 for 11th grade, Advanced Comp & Comm for 12th)
