The Way We See It: Moving On to ASA Clark

Written by Brayden V., Kason G., Eli S., and Soren T.

We are most excited about the new lunch options at Asa Clark, especially the new burgers and pizza. We are also looking forward to different classes, like the STEAM class. We participated in STEAM opportunities at Horizon, which sparked our interest and prepared us for this new opportunity.

We will continue to grow as learners by working hard in our core classes, but we are ready to expand our knowledge and choose new learning opportunities. There will be even more choices when we move to 7th and 8th grade.

We will be good role models by following directions and listening to our teacher, which will help us succeed. We will also mind our own business and help if needed. We will work together, stay productive, and follow expectations. We can follow the rules and still have a good time!

Off to ASA Clark: Our Take on What’s Next!

Written by Emerson W., Piper P., Harper M., and Nadia S.

We’re especially excited to learn new languages, such as French and Mandarin Chinese. We’re also looking forward to tastier food and fun school dances!

We plan to grow as learners by exploring new languages besides Spanish, meeting new teachers, and gaining more experience as we rotate through different classes. We also plan to become better listeners as we take on more responsibility in middle school. We will be good role models by listening carefully to our new teachers' and classmates' opinions. We will participate in most classroom activities and do our best to develop a strong growth mindset. We are ready to take on new challenges and continue to prepare for our future.
