The Three Pillars

You might be thinking about those 3 Pillars, well, we know about them. The 3 Pillars are Trust, Be A Great Teammate, and Play Hard.

Trust in basketball is a lot for one; it could mean doing your job in plays or hitting the game-winning shot, and a lot more. It’s important to trust your coaches and teammates if you want to improve in your basketball career, so you should trust your team to do their job.

Being a Great Teammate means helping people up and showing empathy for players. If you are a great teammate, people will want to be with you, on and off the court.

Playing Hard means starting to sweat, needing water, and trying your hardest at everything. Another reason playing hard helps is that it builds your trust and confidence to perform at your best.

Now you know the 3 Pillars: Trust, Be a Great Teammate, and Play Hard. You also learned that they are an essential part of Pewaukee Basketball history and what they mean. 

Practice and Games

Many people may not know what JV basketball practices are like. The team started practicing on November 17 to prepare for games. Each practice begins with 30 minutes of fundamentals. The team follows the 3 Pillars every day: Trust, Be a Great Teammate, and Play Hard, both in practice and during games. JV games started on December 2nd, and the team will play about 25–35 games this season. Be sure to support them and cheer them on!
